If they aren’t at the beach, they are probably at a skatepark! Andrew (@Stumtmanfool) and Lou (Awe-Connect2Nature) met in 2006 and have lived and worked in Norfolk & Suffolk all their lives. Andrew has been screenprinting since leaving Hull University where he studied Fine Art in the mid-90’s, working for HOAX being a highlight of his printing career, combining his love for skateboarding and screenprinting. Lou has been a lover of the natural world from childhood and now runs a Forest school in South Norfolk – her dream job. Their passions have lead them both to start ‘Flow State’ to share their artwork and jewellery pieces each individually made from old decks or beach combing treasures!
FLOW STATE
The flow theory was first introduced by psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi in the 1970s. He described flow as a state of complete absorption in an activity, where the challenges of the task match the individual’s skills and abilities.
